Pretty Pattie

One of my biggest inspirations when it comes to '60s styling is Pattie Boyd. I love how trendy she was and the way she always seemed willing to try something new. Compiled below are some photos of my favorite Pattie fashion moments.

London, 1964. Wearing a beige shift and black knee-highs, Pattie looks especially mod in these Michael Ward snaps.

Pattie in 1965. Here she channels Alice in Wonderland in a blue and white empire dress and white oxfords with strappy backs.

Here she is with George Harrison at the Monterey International Pop Music Festival in June 1967. Pattie is wearing an adorable psychedelic shift with a pair of purple gladiator sandals. Messy hair, blue tinted shades, and a handful of beaded necklaces complete the look.

Here they are either returning home from or departing to the festival. Pattie has on a cute mini and the same purple sandals. (Bottom two images are courtesy of Child of the Moon.)

In Rishikesh with the entire Beatles clan and sister Jenny. Pattie wears a floral mini and white pirate-esque boots (which you can see her modeling here in an advert alongside Jenny, who happens to be wearing those famous purple gladiators).

Here she is with George again at an opening party for Apple Tailoring on May 23rd, 1968. George is wearing a jacket from Granny Takes a Trip and Pattie has on a little black dress and a floppy green hat, both perfectly accentuating her thin curves and loose curls.

And lastly, here she is with Mr. Eric Clapton in the mid '70s. I love her blouse and messy hair--that strawberry blonde shade suited her quite well!
